This poem is based on a character I am writing a play about. Essentially it sums up his outlook on life.


Karl's Theme
I've heard stories
from long ago
I don't care
if they are true
What matters to me is you
It seems like a story
from a movie gone astray
but darlin'

that is my life everyday
