Limits
We all have limits; responsibilty about the velocity of their movement is our own.

Poem Apr 25th 2015

Two Sided Message
Put on the sunglasses,
she said.
They make you look sexy.
All I can do is laugh,
and make a joke.
instead of the sadness;
making me choke.

Poem Apr 24th 2015

The Inner Critic
Always snipes;
constantly trying
to find something not right.
Does not believe anything
that you do.
A battle we all must go through;
it is never silent.
We must go on fighting;
to prove it is wrong,
and silence its irritating song.

Poem Apr 23rd 2015

Freedom
When thoughts trample
through awareness;
like a herd of wild mustangs.
Enjoy freedom;
by letting them go on their way,
and by not holding on to it.

Poem Apr 21st 2015

One of Those Days 2
Walking
as if skating;
bottle in hand.
People look at him;
thinking he’s gone mad.
Does a brilliant monologue
from Shakespeare;
takes a bow,
gets off the train.
People look at each other
shrugging their shoulders;
as if to say,
it is one of those days.

Poem Apr 17th 2015

Shared Memories
Shared memories are rarely
seen the same way,
by different people.
Interpreted differently;
you would swear
it is not the same.
One sees happiness;
another pain.
Some would claim
it did not happen to you;
that you took it from someone else;
changed it to get attention too.

Poem Apr 16th 2015

Wind’s Sculpture
Wind sculpts hair
into a new artistic form.
Many feel forlorn;
heap it with scorn.
Most call it a bad hair day;
originating from wind’s play.

Ducks’ Discussion 2
Out for a stroll;
enjoying the weather,
in spite of it not being so warm.
Some ducks are asleep;
others are talking about;
Where’s the warmth and the heat?Patience, says one, to the others;
it’s early in the new day;
wait and see what will come our way.

Set Building Day
A day of building for the show;
everyone is tired.
It was hard work.
Challenged in new ways;
learned a lot over this day.
It was fun working together.

Making sure everything is all right.

Poem Apr 5th 2015

Cats in the Station
Cats chasing
each other around the platform.
Weaving in and out.
Suddenly they stop;
in front of the escalator.
They’ve never seen it before.
Watching prople go up and down.
They run around some more;
then use the escalator
to expand their fun
from floor to floor.

Memory
Warm air
kissed by ocean’s breeze.
Sends goosebumps along our skin.
As we consider;
staying on the beach
or going for a swim
as wind grins.

Human Popsicle
Standing in falling snow;
doesn’t want to go.
Doesn’t care about the cold
or being chilled to the bone.
Doesn’t matter if he looks like a human popsicle.

Poem Mar 27th 2015

Arrival at Frankfurt
Train slows down
before the station;
stops.
Delayed
everyone getting impatient;
dismayed.
We all have other trains to catch
not much time;
finally arrive.
Two minutes left
before the next train leaves
not pleased.
It’s at the other end of the station.
Running as if insane
jumping through
the closing doors of the train.
Exhausted but happy again.
