Poem Feb 1st 2016

Snowflakes’ Dance
Snowflakes dance;
joyfully encircling each other;
as they skip ‘n’ glide;
smiling as they fly.

Poem Jan 29th 2016

The Last Laugh
The reset button laughs;
as it can’t wait;
to see the reaction;
on the person’s face.
Enough abuse;
every button will now erase.

Poem Jan 28th 2016

Rain ‘n’ Horns
Rain scowled car;
cocooned by wet rivulets.
As night dawns;
writhes into icy horns

Poem Jan 27th 2016

Abused Words
Words that are maimed, twisted, ‘n’ manipulated against their original purpose ‘n’ intention; for evil deeds are used as the source ‘n’ justification of much violence and destruction today.

It refused;
to reflect anymore; until it got paid.

Poem Jan 24th 2016

What’s With the Weather
Listening to the news;
waiting to hear;
if the weather forecast is true;
or a ruse.
The most important thing;
is that we don’t end up lost or confused.

A name game;
littered with complaints;

This game is done.

Poem Jan 20th 2016

Thoughts’ Cake
Thoughts’ cake
bakes;
best when undisturbed.
If you’re angry or perturbed;
it burns.
Sadness makes it sag;
like a drooping flag.
Happiness makes it rise;
like a kite flying in the sky

Dance of the Blue Hearts
Blue Hearts;
sharing their songs;
to release their sadness.
Realizing they are not alone.
Moved by feeling.
All dancing;
moving to erase the blues;
to lift their spirits
to soar and be happy too.

Poem Jan 16th 2016

The Fleeing Tea
The tea flees;
jumping past the knees.
Getting whipped along;
by the cold breeze;
until it starts to freeze.
Frozen but now free.

Poem Jan 11th 2016

Discovery
Words butterfly across the page;
leaving me spellbound;
what can come around.
When you give yourself time,
and allow the emotions to speak
instead of pulling back
or to retreat
It is not about success
or defeat
rather giving
permission to express yourself
‘n’ to speak.

Poem Jan 9th 2016

Absurd Thought of the Day Jan 9th 2016
A steak rapping in a commerical extolling the virtues and vitamins in eating chicken, fish, lamb and diverse vegetables.  Comparing them all from a supermarket, a super store, a farm, an organic farm, a hydroponic growing facility and advising the people watching to go and vote for a jellyfish instead of any of the other candidates  running for office.
(C)BJG(Blair Gaulton)Jan 2016

Poem Jan 8th 2016

Counterpoint
Wind ‘n’ waves cymbal;
against each other;
creating a counterpoint;
to the cold.
(C)BJG(Blair Gaulton)Jan 2016

Poem Jan 7th 2016

Absurd Words
Absurd words;
juggle the mind awake.
Taking it away;
from things that frustrate.
Giving it something else to contemplate.
(C)BJG(Blair Gaulton)Jan 2016

Poem Jan 6th 2016

Out of the Car’s Window
Foot out the window;
aerobically wiggling around;
trying to get rid
of the icy cloud;
on the side view mirror.

The Lonely Tree

dancing in the wind;
as you walk by.
I miss you.

Poem Jan 4th 2016

Commentary
Peace’s pieces shatter;
as politicians and extremists use other people;
as pieces in their violent chess match.
