A Portrait of Life
I have lost;
I have won.
Been smart ‘n’ dumb.
Done crazy stupid things.
Soared;
crashed;
come undone.
Been afraid;
spoken words, 
I’ll never repeat again.
Been right and wrong.
Been good ‘n’ bad;
happy ‘n’ sad. 
Been labeled
‘n’ called many things.
Found and lost love;
Refuse to give up;
in spite of the pain.
Keep on living;
much to learn and gain;
You’ll find many good people,
friends, those who you love,
‘n’ treasure along the way.
