Ocean

we’ve battled waves
waltzed with wind
been blizzard baked
soaked sunshine
capered currents
rode rain
frisked fog
danced doldrums
Here is where we are free
in Ocean’s embrace
is our home
woe to you
who misuse it
do not abuse
or she’ll send you to the deep
