Thought on a Summer’s Night
Rain chatters;
with its pitter-patter;
as stars smile from the sky.

Poem Mar 19th 2015

A Wonderful Summer Picnic
Warm beautiful weather
as we arrived on time.
Through the field
to a nearby tree
and a prickly stream.
Put the cooler to the side.
Hauled out the blankets.
Lay down cuddled together;
watching clouds
gondola through the sky
we smiled enjoying it
for awhile.
after eating; you played some beautiful songs
I read some poems
then hand in hand
we slowly went home.

Summer's Call
Butterflies
Bees
Wandering
through blooming flowers
Sporadic sun showers
Lessen heat
Day is complete.
