The Speed of Loneliness
The speed of loneliness;
leaves you gasping.
One minute, the one you love is near;
the next no longer there.
Then the speed of loneliness;
hits you hard.
You’re in shards, drowning in pain;
fighting to stay alive.
‘Tho dead inside.
