Poem Apr 5th 2015

Cats in the Station
Cats chasing
each other around the platform.
Weaving in and out.
Suddenly they stop;
in front of the escalator.
They’ve never seen it before.
Watching prople go up and down.
They run around some more;
then use the escalator
to expand their fun
from floor to floor.

Animals amble
gathering things
before autumn comes
going past people asleep in sun.
