Poem Feb 28th 2014

Soundscape
Wind ripples
dancing
through wood
lightly chiming
smiling
I sleep.

Poem Feb 27th 2014

Phone
Phone
provides
people
plentiful
possibilities
preparing
planning
playing
publicly
protesting
paying
passing time.

Poem Feb 26th 2014

Performing While Waiting for the Train
Twisting
turning
arching
spinning
gliding
people
stop
watch
take pictures
applaud
when she finished
she gets on train
gone.

Poem Feb 25th 2014

Choices: A Tribute
Speechless landscape
flooded my eyes
I see why
you did not want to leave
Battling
ocean land weather
to survive
eking out enough
to stay alive
deciding to go
build a better life
A hard choice
you found your way
I only know you
through family stories
We never met
but you will never be forgotten.

Poem Feb 24th 2014

Wandering
Wandering
fluttering in wind
breezing
past abandoned houses
settling on stone
gazing
as sun slips away.

Poem Feb 23rd 2014

Halfabet Hermit
A
Bunch bushed bushes
controls
deceptive
entrance
from
great
hordes hoping hermit
investigates
just
keeping
loud
making
noise.
No
Matter
Leaves
Kumquats
Just
Intends
Happily
Going
For
Excursion
Down
Coast
Being
Alone

Poem Feb 22nd 2014

The Cave
This was a place
we explored
lured by tales of
smugglers and treasure
our adventures
brought us together
what we found
fun, laughter and love.
