Poem Nov 5th 2013

In Memory of Patty Eckmeier
This world
has lost another gem
never to be seen again
your smile laughter voice
lifted many up
now you are gone
from our stage
you are cherished
always will be
may your soul be happy and free

ratches

revelling

rapidly
reaches

The Sea and The Singers

set sail
smiling sun
sliding serenely
singers singing songs
sea slowly smiles
satisified

Poem Nov 1st 2013

The Battle 2
My brow
feels beaten
pummeled
by tiredness’ heavy hand
thought
is an insidious battle
stealing sleep
leaving you
like a rubber tire
