Preference
Do you prefer words having meaning
appealing
revealing
sexy
yet concealing
raising emotion
through the ceiling
or word stew instead.

Poem Feb 23rd 2017: The Funny Umbrella by Blair Gaulton
The Funny Umbrella
Life is a funny umbrella;
it opens 'n' closes.
Dancing;
not caring;
about the rain sun 'n' breeze;
or the view;
from the mountains 'n' seas.
Does not matter;
if you are sad or pleased.
Find a way;
to bring yourself peace.

Disappointment
Some media 'n' news are curtains
or blinds to what is happening.
Fueling a dangerous one-sideness.
Show us facts and not your
opinions or political persuasion.
Stop showing us what you think
we want to hear.
