Cold Fever
Feeling like;
I am living inside a rude ice cube.
Burning up in cold;
shivering shaking;
body quaking.
Barely able to write;
also feeling like a kite.
Good day and good night!

Right and Wrong
Right and wrong are flavours;
that leave an aftertaste;
on the consciousnes, and soul
of people.

Poem May 28th 2015
We all need time;
to realize;
that we have good and bad inside.
Every decision we make;
no matter, what we contemplate;
will have good, and bad consequences;
for ourselves, and others.
Whatever we may choose;
think it through:
refuse to be rushed.
That way you can carefully decide.

Poem May 27th 2015
Lost in my inner fog;
pulled torn by sadness;
uncertain unclear.
I’ve got to trust myself;
find my way
back into the day.

Poem May 24th 2015
To heal is to reveal what is concealed;
help it to lose its appeal,
and send it away,
so you can be free to be happy,
and at ease.

Poem May 23rd 2015
Remembering in a positive way;
brings a longing;
for people, places, and times;
when you felt wanted, loved or desired.
A happiness of being alive;
glowing inside;
which you miss terribly
when it is not there.
Feels hard to survive,
and carry on;
when you believe your love,
and your hope are gone.

Poem May 22nd 2015
People staggered;
along the side;
waiting for the bus to arrive.
Sort of a line up;
a smattering of mumbling;
grumbling;
the occasional loud stomach rumbling.
Some people fumbling;
to find their tickets;
playing games or sending messages to kill time;
until our ride arrives.

Poem May 21st 2015
Umbrella Tree 3
Umbrella tree excessively pruned;
I hope it has not been ruined.
It makes me sad; seeing it this way.
I miss seeing the lovey leaves;
that embrace you;
when you stand beneath.
it is more than a retreat.
A welcoming feeling;
when you stand there.
An oasis of calm;
no matter what is going on.
It is a place, I love to be.

Poem May 20th 2015
Words have weight;
whatever we now might think, feel
or contemplate.
What we have written;
can cause others
to react to it.
Now, and in the future;
in ways we can not anticipate.

Bee bumbling;
along floor of the bus;
unsure if it can fly.
Some people carefully took it up,
and put it outside.
With time it was able to fly.
Buzzed past as if saying thank you,
and goodbye.

Tonight
A walk tonight;
wasn’t enough for me.
My blood sugar was still too high.
So I went dancing;
it makes me feel free,
and happy.
Now I am sleepy!

Poem May 9th 2015
Feelings
To feel,
reveals that you are moved;
or touched in a way
that reaches you.
The face, lips, and mouth show.
Eyes reflect the most;
then you know;
words are not needed.

being peppered into dust.

Try to enjoy the weather anyway!

Poem May 5th 2015
I wrote this poem orginally in Oct 2006. It was in an unpublished short poetry collection “Dawn’s Advent“.
Today, I am publishing it online for the first time.

Dawn’s Advent
Morning’s tears
cannot retrieve
night’s tenderness
with dawn’s advent.

Poem May 4th 2015
Try to be Occupied
Still sick;
can’t rest,
can’t sleep,
might as well write;
that way I have a productive night.
A good distraction
against the pain
until it surges again.

Poem Apr 29th 2015
Today’s been a day;
filled with a lot of pain.
Felt as if a railway train
driving through my brain.
Went to the doc;
told me I’ve got a migraine.
When will it go away? I ask;
it takes time, pain killers, and rest.
Go home stay in bed is best.
it definitely is one of those days
Be happy, when it is gone away.

Poem Apr 28th 2015
Had a bad headache;
went out for a walk.
Did not pay attention,
got lost.
Blood sugar dived;
hauled out some food;
devoured it,
feeling good.
Now know where I am;
heading back to my neighbourhood.
